Dear Geoff
Here I am in my new positions as the president of a $100 million/year company with a six figure compensation package
To summarize the experience.
As you know I had taken a year's sabbatical to complete my third year of university and then I wanted to move back into the workplace to a management position. Preferably I wanted a position in a high tech company. After completing my resume and job search with you, I had meetings with 14 presidents, vice presidents and managers. I received one full-time offer (within 3 weeks) and one contract offer (within 6-7 weeks). I took the contract offer working under the Chairman and

of a multi-million
dollar holding group. He took me on specifically to troubleshoot in one of his high-tech subsidiaries.
Six months after beginning this work, I received an offer from the US president of a company whose Canadian president I had visited in my original search. They called out of the blue and within 3 days I had the offer of president of a $100 million per year company with 350 employees.
I had followed your
informal
method of going out to meet with executives. More interesting
still, my initial contact with this company had been the result
of 3 sequential referrals.
The resume and the job search techniques of networking were very useful. The
resume, which explained in great detail who I was, had to have made an impression.
Then the refinements, such as the fact that I had an organized professional follow-up for each person, set me apart. I was able to market myself in a professional manner - and it never leaves you

resume, job search, dress,
all those little details - is that they count both to get the
job and after you get the job. The follow-up sessions with you
during my search were very useful for analysis and reinforcement
- what I did wrong, where I scored points, and what to do next.
It was like having a mentor. The cv-biography and resume and the
approach gave me much more confidence when I was in with people.
The Salary Negotiation training in itself was worth an extra 20% from the first offer. The training gave me the confidence to know when to strike. Having the strategy and the tools to negotiate - and access to you to discuss this while it's going on
I was originally looking and wondering when I first heard of your price I told my wife "You've got to spend money to make money." And I never wavered from then on.
In short, I highly recommend the service to colleagues in management and engineering. It is an organized and detailed, yet simple in its implementation once you have done your homework and you have been trained
